Manuel Domingo obtained his Law degree from the Universidad Gran Colombia and specialized in Insurance at Universidad Javeriana. He began his career at Previsora Seguros where he obtained wide experience and became Regional Manager in Cúcuta, Norte de Santander.

In 1992, Manuel Domingo founded MDM Asesores de Seguros (MDM Insurance Advisors Co.) with the purpose of contributing to the Insurance industry with his background and experience. He created his agency with the main objective of fulfilling customer needs and providing personalized service, always with the purpose of serving others.

He later became an independent contractor, managing to establish his portfolio in the Oil and Food sectors with clients who believed in his value proposition and worked for more than 10 years with private companies in these two sectors.

He also made his priority to serve Teachers of Colombia and felt the importance of bringing his talent and vast experience to the Secretary of Education of Bogotá. In 2003, he halted his activities at MDM in order to manage the special health regime of the Public Teachers Health Plan at a National level, rendering his services as Vice President of FiduPrevisora, the Trust Company established for this purpose.

In 2009 he got back to his Agency and focused on providing his insurance services to the health sector, where he advised on insurance matters many private health companies. Following his vocation and his desire to contribute to an improved Colombia, he became a member of the Board of Directors of Positiva Seguros for more than 3 consecutive years.
